The LIFE PHOENIX project was outlined, with a specific presentation curated by IRSA-CNR and with the preparation of a technical-scientific poster in a dedicated space, at the seminar "Persistent and Mobile Organic Chemicals - A challenge for Analytical Chemistry and Water Quality Control, which took place on 21 and 22 January at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig.

The event, jointly organized by the NORMAN network and the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research, was a productive opportunity for debate about the importance of persistent, mobile and toxic (PMT) substances for environment and human health, with numerous reports and speeches related to research projects and activities in the field.

The main objectives of the seminar included, in particular: highlighting the current state of analytical methods, gathering information on the occurrence of PM(T) chemicals in wastewater and drinking water, proposing strategies in order to improve knowledge on these substances.

The articulation of the programme allowed the lecturers' speeches and the poster presentations during the first day of the workshop, while in-depth study among thematic groups and the final discussion in plenum characterized the following day. To learn more about the topics covered, you can refer to the pdf document attached at the end of the page, with the programme of the event and presentation and poster abstracts.
